I'm on Cloth Paper Scissor's website!

One of my "Tea Party" inspired pieces is now on Cloth Paper Scissors website. I should have a second piece in the upcoming January/February issue too. I have a subscription to the magazine though I haven't gotten my copy yet. It's supposed to be on new stands January 6th though the subscribers usually get theirs first. Has anyone gotten theirs yet? I can't wait to get my hands on a copy. :)

I got sucked into the vortex!

Since Jared and I just got his and her's iphones. (His is black and mine is white.) I have recently been sucked onto Facebook and Twitter which are really cool on the iphone. I know, I know... just one more thing to keep me from making art. :P The programs are based on Status updates, especially Twitter. It has been really fun to see what Micheal DeMeng is working on and when Claudine Hellmuth is out walking her dog. I've also been able to reconnect with some long lost friends. So anyway, if you guys are interested, hit me up and add me as a friend so you too will know when I'm doing lame things like cleaning the house. (today's status) hehe

I just finished another journal yesterday. This one is going to be a Christmas gift for someone special. I wonder who it could be???

The pictures came out kinda crappy. It's gloomy outside so the light wasn't great. It is SO much prettier in person.

Christmas Cards

Hey guys,

I've been busy working on a few Christmas cards for family that were inspired by these cool red string tie envelopes I found and I thought I would share them with you.

Kinda a weird thing to be inspired by right? LOL I just love string tie envelopes. I don't know why but I think there's something really romantic about them. So anyway, of course I had to scoop them up and make some pretty cards to fit inside. These are one sided mini collaged cards done on Watercolor paper. I have written Christmas messages on the back.
