A Few Newish Paintings

Hi Guys,
Because of the crazy busy last few months I haven't had a chance to post any new artwork. So here's a few moody new paintings I made a few months ago. I really enjoyed working on them and am planning on continuing the series. I've got two more that are sitting in my studio halfway done. I call these my OlD SOUl Series. They may not be everyone's cup of tea but I like them. :)

Thanks for your comments! Love you guys. XO -Sarah

Wow - they're so different from that pig-tailed "girl"! They have a different beauty and really speak to me!

These are really great...Moody, yes, but also very thought provoking, and relatable. I like the one where he's holding out his heart...the quote isn't what came to my mind, but it's perfect just the same. Thank you so much for sharing. You're such a gem! xox

Beautiful and moody. I too love the one with the heart in the hand. Tender and gentle. Beautiful layering.

I really like your new pictures Sarah. They are dark and a little creepy (in a good way) but BEAUTIFUL. They really speak volumes. I like your style.

I have to be honest .. I wasn't prepared for these. They are quite different from bright and whimsical side we usually see. But once I got past that first moment, I couldn't look away. They're very moody and even a little disturbing, but in a good, emotional, moving way. These are stunning .. in every sense of the word!

This Series skilfully portrays the more somber elements of the soul whilst still retaining a deep spiritual connection.
